After not drawing at all for a many many years I have decied to try and get back in practice again. Hopefully by airing this cack handed rubbish on my blog I will shame myself into making a decent effort. these are just some bizarre doodles.

Ah its not so bad. The grey guy on the right above mexican wrestler guy is neat.
I wish there were life drawing classes near where I'm living right now- times when I did concentrated stints of that I think I improved- possibly at least because of the hand eye coordination aspect.
Do your work hours leave you much time to draw though?
I've come across this guys blog http://johnshelley.blogspot.com/
maybe you ccould share stories bout working in japan.

That guys blog is great, thanks. Since I've just started and I'm doing the cinematics for a project in its final stages there isn't much free time. But the new work place is very 2d orientated. Most of the artists dont work in 3D, so that atmosphere is very encouraging. Its a joy to see everyone with pencils and other art materials on their desk. The weekly drawing club is great fun. Its exactly what I was hoping for in work. I didn't realise how much i missed drawing.
