nice! doubly nice to find you and your work too. I've just bought zbrush myself, haven't had any time or chance to look at it more than a 20 minute first look. hmmm I oughta join you in your zbrush odyssey, and i need to learn xsi still too- i read some of the manuals- not much more.
Hi Lachlan, Thanks for the kind comment, I gotta long way to go to get the hang of Zbrush but the software is really fantastic! Ive been dropping in on your blog too. Nice Life drawing. I gotta get back to some drawing too. I liked the girl on the magical turtle. BTW ...The gnomon training dvd is a great quickstart for Zbrush .
I watched a couple of dvds a while back-its just sitting and doing the time tinkering with it itself, mind you this version 3 seems a lot more user friendly(i had v2 briefly)
As for the life drawing- well I could get actually get my wife to pose for me easy- but then i'm not allowed to post them. So life drawing class it is then. and if they keep putting the models in nutty costumes i guess i'll keep adding nutty contexts around them. anonymous nude people staring into the void gets a bit dull.
looks like your dinosaur has a body- when do we get a peek at that?
Ah you people :) Dave dude, it's nice to see your stuff, the dinosaurs are awesome inspiration too. I gave up on software, and decided to focus on my pencil and brush.
Good luck to you two on yer learnin' though, I am sure there will be some awesomeness coming out of it.
